Description

Our range of Taper Bored Sprockets has been extended far beyond any of our competitor’s ranges of 3/8″ to 2″ pitch.

As well as now including:

Even Tooth sizes up to 40 teeth, & in between tooth sizes up to and including 114 tooth both in Cast Iron & Steel (including sizes not available elsewhere).
Larger Pitch Sizes up to & including 2″.
Some with alternative Bush Sizes.

To Compliment this range, the company also provides two other alternative ranges:

Reverse Taper Bushed (Bush fits in from the teeth side).
Simplex Taper Bushed with Induction Harden teeth.
Beside the Simplex Induction Harden range, the company also offer a Flame or Induction Hardening Service to any STEEL sprocket listed.

Material- Carbon Steel C45 E Uni En 10083-1 Cast Iron min- EN-GJL-200 Uni En1561

Tooth sizes in C45 Steel and are suitable for Flame Hardening – Cast Iron are in Grade GJL200 as Standard with Increased Boss Diameter & Heavy Duty Grades available on request

Alt. Shaft Fixing

As an alternative to either Boring & Keywaying a pilot bore sprocket or using a Taper bored sprocket and Bush. Why not take a look at the range of Locking Bushes we now offer, as they eliminate the need for fixing via a Keyway-Key thereby providing the added benefit of a uniform distribution of the drive load over the entire diameter of the bush.

Tips

Need a bigger bore size than the maximum the bush will take? You could consider one of the following :-

Simplex- Shaft Ready Range (Some sizes have increased Bore range)
Stock Pilot Bore Sprocket (Can generally be bored & Keywayed for a larger shaft)
Stock Pilot Bore Sprocket (with a Clamping or Friction bush)
Some Pitch & Tooth Size are available to suit an increased Bush Size
