Description

This range of Shaft Ready Simplex Sprockets was originally developed from the experience gained servicing the demand for Finished Machined sprockets for the replacement market. However since its introduction, this range has proved so popular that the company has been able to increase its production volumes, and in turn enabled it to reduce its unit cost to make it a very competitive alternative to reworking a pilot bore sprocket for the small to large volume OEM user.

Standard Production Range of B.S. Simplex Sprockets in Carbon Steel C45 E Uni EN 10083-1 with Induction Harden Teeth for prolonged Life, to suit Roller chains to ISO6060R-DIN 8187.

All Sprockets are with Metric Bores H7 (10 to 50mm) Keyway J9 (Keyway’s centred on centre line of one tooth, suitable for pairing) with 2 Grub Screws 1 over keyway 1 @ 90 degrees & Induction Harden teeth.

Alt. Shaft Fixing

As an alternative to either Boring & Keywaying a pilot bore sprocket or using a Taper bored sprocket and Bush. Why not take a look at the range of Locking Bushes we now offer, as they eliminate the need for fixing via a Keyway-Key thereby providing the added benefit of a uniform distribution of the drive load over the entire diameter of the bush.
