Zinc Plated Carbon Steel Roller Chains to ISO 606R/Din 8187

Listed here is the New Extended range of British Standard Series of Short Pitch Chains that conform to ISO606R/Din 8187 stds and are Zinc Plated. The Plating process having been applied prior to assembly to ensure maxinum protection of all of the component parts.

Beside these chains, some sizes of chains within the following series of chains can also be supplied Zinc Plated. Conveyor Chains to BS 4116 part, Din 8167 and Din 8165.

Precision Roller Chains: as the company offer a combined range, that is produced by a number manufacturers from Europe and Japan, they have adopted the following Quality Standards :-

  1. All chains have been produced in plant that is Certified to ISO 9001.
  2. Chains covered by the ISO 606R Standard, will conform to this Standard of Specification and Quality.
  3. For chains not covered by ISO 606R, then we have adopted the appropriate Din 8187 or Din 8188 or Ansi B 29.1 of Specification and Quality Standard.
  4. Work standard chains not covered by the above standards will conform to the appropriate Manufacturer’s Standard.

Connecting Links:-Sizes up to & inclusive of 1”Pitch(16B) are available in SPRING CLIP TYPE and for Size 1”Pitch(16B) & above would COTTERED or SPLIT PIN TYPE

Offset/Crank Link: Single pitch type only

Chain Breakers: 3/8″ to 3/4″ & 3/4″ to 1-1/4″

Attachments

Standard Types are:

  • Extended Plain Pins One side or Both. (These can be on every pin or at intervals along a supply length)
  • Extended Grooved Pin One side or Both (These can be on every pin or at intervals along a supply length)

Attachments Side Plates:

  • K1 Bent with One Fixing Hole on One side or Both.
  • K2 Bent with Two Fixing Holes on One side or Both.
  • M1 Vertically Straight with One Fixing
  • M2 Vertically Straight with Two Fxing Holes on One side or Both.

(above can be on Inner or Outers Plate links or every plate or intervals along the supply length)

Plated Chains can be supplied in two formats: All parts Plated before Assembly – which offer the full protection of the plating! or after assembly usually cheaper but they do not provide Full protection (This type should only be considered for cosmetic reasons only)
