Description

This range of European Standard Taper Bored Cast Iron Vee Pulleys to Din 2211 & ISO 4183 are suitable for use with Wedge Belt to Din 7753 part 1, Classical Vee Belts to Din 2215 and Classical Open Ended Belting to Din 2216 and have been statically Balanced for Belt Speeds up to 35m per second.

As individual design patterns can vary from one manufacturer to another, the company has overcome this problem by bringing together a number of manufacturers design patterns and combining them into one range, enabling it to offer a choice of design formats and alternatives bush size types together with a Standard Stock Range extending up to 1250PCD x 12 Groove which is currently larger than all the leading names in the market today. Couple this with its Pilot Bore and Pre-bored Ranges for Locking Bushes means you have access to one of the Largest stock ranges in Europe, and even if you can not find what you are looking for within these Standard Stock ranges, the company also provides a full manufacturing Service to customers own indivdual requirement from its UK plant as well as its European manufacturing partners.

This range of pulleys have been designed for the Standard Length Series of Taper bushes, however we are also now able to offer some of these size to suit the New Short Length Taper Bushes as well as offer some sizes in a Higher Grade of GG25 Cast Iron – please enquire to our Sales Office for available sizes

Alt. Shaft Fixing

As an alternative to either Boring & Keywaying a pilot bore pulley or using a Taper bored pulley and Bush. Why not take a look at the range of Locking Bushes we now offer, as they eliminate the need for fixing via a Keyway-Key thereby providing the added benefit of a uniform distribution of the drive load over the entire diameter of the bush.

Tips

Most European Pulley Manufacturers & Suppliers quote the pulley size using the PCD Pitch Circle Diameters, hence to obtain the Outside Diameter for a SPC Section pulley you need to add 9.6 mm, therefore a 100.0 pcd SPC would have an outside diameter of 109.6mm. Be cafeful when ordering Taper Bored Vee pulleys as Design Types can vary from one manufactuer to another. So if you need a particular design pattern then please specify this when enquiring or ordering. NOISE/VIBRATION: as the standard stock range of Taper bushed Vee Pulleys have been balanced based on 50HZ then for drives operating at 60HZ or higher where noise and vibration is paramount then we can provide a re-balancing Service ask our Sales office for details.
