Description

These Polymer Sleeve Couplings have been designed around a hollow sleeve with internal toothing produced through injection moulding and are for use as a general purpose flexible couplings. They are available in ten sizes that cater for shaft sizes from 6.0mm to 65.0mm with a torque capacity range from 11.5nm to 840nm.

The special polymer sleeve is resistant to most of the common chemicals and moderate heat (max 80°C) which allows it operate in ambient temperature conditions of -20°C to +120°C with short peaks of 150°C.

Another feature is the Barrelling of the gear tooth form which allows it to accommodate both Radial as well as Angular deviation or misalignment.

The stock range is available as a pilot bore coupling as either a short hub length or a long hub length or as a combination of each which allows for flexibility of spacing between shafts or for bell housing applications and can be re-machined to suit individual customer’s shaft sizes on quick lead times as required.

Tips

Tips

Be careful if you are only trying to replace just a hub or a sleeve as there are numerious Brands such as the Giflex & FBX which are dimensional very similar but are not interchangeable. Therefore close attention need to be paid to the pitch and the number of the teeth as these can differ. If in doubt please replace the complete coupling!
