Flexible Spider Giflex Type Aluminium & Cast Iron Pilot Bore

Description

This range of Flexible Spider Couplings are equivalent to the Rotex and KTR ranges and are available in Ten stock sizes with the first four sizes being available in both Aluminium and Cast Iron material.

The Standard Stock series have Pilot Bore Hubs and cater for shafts size from 6.0mm to 100mm, and provide a Torque range of 10nm to 7200nm, although for large volume users, we also provide a pre-machined shaft ready version, which are available upon request!

There are three types of Polyurethane Spiders, Yellow 92 Shore, Black 94 Shore (Standard unless otherwise requested) and Red 98 Shore, with the red providing an increase Torque loading capacity and are suitable for application with ambient temperatures of -40°C to +125°C and for shorts peak load up to +150°C.

There are two hub types, the A type have the smaller outside diameter, with the B type have the larger full size outside diameter and can be used as mating pairs (A-A or B-B) or a combination of each,(A-B) which is the standard arrangement, as both types are stocked with a nominal pilot bore they can be re-machined to suit individual customer’s shaft sizes on quick lead times as required.
