Worm Gear units with Pre-stage Helical Spur CHPC/CH05-08 Similar to the Bonfiglioli VFR44-49 & WR63-86 Series

These Add on units have been design to be able to increase the overall gearing range of the New & Improved CH Design of Worm Gear Units that have the same dimensions of the Bonfiglioli VF 44-49 and the W 63-75 86 series worm units by coupling a 3:1 ratio Pre-Stage Helical Spur unit CHPC similar to the VFR & WR series Bonfiglioli range although with some minor dimensional changes so as to provide a sealed modular unit which can be supplied complete with a Motor or as a Pam type with a Hollow Input shaft and motor flange, hence dimensional replaceable, but offering the following improved design features:

1. Input Shaft Oil Seal mounted in the Gear Casing rather than the Flange avoiding the possibility of seal damage during flange changes.
2. The Worm has a ZI involute profile to improve performance and reduce Temperature.
3. Gear castings are in Aluminium and painted with RAL 9022 Aluminium colour epoxy power to protect against oxidation and any micro blowholes.

Design Types:

• CH type – Foot Mounting with Pam Hollow Input Shaft & Motor Flange.
• CHE type – Foot Mounting with Pam Hollow Input Shaft & Motor Flange and Solid Input Shaft Extension.
• CH–P type – (Only available on CH04 & CH05 units) Shaft Mounting with Pam Hollow Input Shaft & Motor Flange.
• CHE—P type – (only available on CH04 &CH05 units) Shaft Mounting with Pam Hollow Input Shaft & Motor Flange and Solid Input Shaft Extension.
