Description

Listed here is our current standard stock range of pilot bore Pulleys and Bars to suit HTD 8M pitch of Timing Belts.

The standard stock range of pulleys are available in 25 tooth sizes to suit 4 standard belt widths of 20 (20mm), 30 (30mm), 50 (50mm) and 85 (85mm) which should cater for the majority of power transmission drive applications. Although you can also generate a pulley for any alternative width or for a non-standard tooth size by selecting a bar length from one of the range of 19 tooth sizes we offer.

Timing Bars

HTD 8M Pitch sizes listed below, all tooth sizes are available in Steel & Aluminium

Material Bars: Steel C40/C45 & Aluminium 6082
Note: The Useable length is not necessary the total length of the bar, but the length which has the full tooth depth, for use as a pulley.

Timing Pulleys: with boss one side

Material Pulleys: Steel C45 E UNI EN 10083-1 with Flanges up to & including 72 tooth, and in Cast Iron EN-GJL-200 UNI EN 1561 without Flanges from 80 tooth & above.

Alt. Shaft Fixing

As an alternative to either Boring & Keywaying a pilot bore pulley or using a Taper bored pulley and Bush. Why not take a look at the range of Locking Bushes we now offer, as they eliminate the need for fixing via a Keyway-Key thereby providing the added benefit of a uniform distribution of the drive load over the entire diameter of the bush.

Tips

Note: Only one pulley’ within a timing pulley drive needs to have Flanges to stop belt run off.
