Description

L (3/8″) pitch are a Classical Trapezoidal type synchronous belt according to ISO 5296 offering a maintenance free and economical alternative to coventional drives like chains and gears. Ideal for light to low power application from 0.05KW at 100 rpm up to 5.0KW at 6000 rpm and are available in Single and Double Sided belt types in three standard stock widths, with a sleeve to service any non stock width requirement.

Beside using a Timing Belt as a power transmission drive system, the benefits of using a synchronous belt have now been more widely exploited within the Automation and Material Handling industries for use as a positioning drive over long centre distances. To service these types of applications this pitch size is also available in six standard stock widths as open ended belting.
