Double Pitch Carbon Steel Roller Chains To ISO 606R- ANSI B 29.1/Din 8188 Standards
These Series of Chains are made using the same components of its shorter relatives except the pitch size has been doubled.
Example: 208A(A2040) Chain has the same Pin, Bush, & Roller as 08A (40-1) with the only difference being that the side plate length has been increased so as to double the pitch to 1″.
Unlike its British Equivalent, the American series have been extensively developed to suit all types of applications and are available with both Waisted and Straight side plates with other options that include: Holes in Side Plates at Mid pitch, Large Rollers in Carbon Steel as well as Delrin with or without Outboard Rollers, Hollow Pins, Increase Capacity through Thicker Side Plates, Accumlator Types, K1, K2, M1, M2 Attachments, Extended Pins – Plain, D3,Threaded. With most if not all being available in Standard Carbon Steel – Nickel Plated – Zinc Plated and Stainless Steel.

- All chains have been produced in plant that is Certified to ISO 9001.
- Chains covered by the ISO 606R Standard, will conform to this Standard of Specification and Quality.
- For chains not covered by ISO 606R, then we have adopted the appropriate Din 8187 or Din 8188 or Ansi B 29.1 of Specification and Quality Standard.
- Work standard chains not covered by the above standards will conform to the appropriate Manufacturer’s Standard.

Connecting Links:-Sizes up to & inclusive of 1”Pitch(16B) are available in SPRING CLIP TYPE and for Size 1”Pitch(16B) & above would COTTERED or SPLIT PIN TYPE.
Offset/Crank Link: Single Pitch type only
Chain Breakers: 3/8″ to 3/4″ & 3/4″ to 1 1/4″.

Tips
Be Careful when replacing drive wheel for these chains, as well as drive wheel cut to the correct Pitch Size. It is also possible to use the Shorter Pitch Standard Ansi sprockets and be driving off every other Tooth. We would strongly recommend that you obtain the Outside Diameter and number of teeth to confirm which type is fitted.
