Stainless Steel Grade 304 Roller Chains to ANSI B 29.1/Din8188 Stds

Precision Roller Chains: as the company offers a combined range, that is produced by a number manufacturers from around the World, it has adopted the following Quality Standards :-

  1. All chains have been produced in plant that is Certified to ISO 9001.
  2. Chains covered by the ISO 606R Standard, will conform to this Standard of Specification and Quality.
  3. For chains not covered by ISO606R, then we have adopted the appropriate Din 8187 or Din 8188 or Ansi B 29.1 of Specification and Quality Standard.
  4. Work standard chains not covered by the above standards will conform to the appropriate Manufacturer’s Standard.

We do not currently provide a Standard Stock Range for American Standard Drive Sprockets in Stainless Steel, but do offer a full manufacturing service for any size of drive sprocket to suit the Chains listed on this page, please ask our Sales department for details.

Listed here is our current range of the American Standard Short Pitch Series in Grade 304 Stainless Steel.

This is the American Double Pitch Roller Chains Series in Grade 304 Stainless Steel.

Only listed here are the base designations for these chains, although there is a number of prefixes that designate the different types! (For a full listing please use the company’s Product Search Service, see appropriate tab).

Connecting Links:-Sizes up to & inclusive of 1”Pitch(16B) are available in SPRING CLIP TYPE and for Size 1”Pitch(16B) & above would COTTERED or SPLIT PIN TYPE.

Offset/Crank Link: Single Pitch type only

Attachments

Standard Types are:

  • Extended Plain Pins One side or Both. (These can be on every pin or at intervals along a supply length)
  • Extended Grooved Pin One side or Both (These can be on every pin or at intervals along a supply length)

Attachments Side Plates:

  • K1 Bent with One Fixing Hole on One side or Both.
  • K2 Bent with Two Fixing Holes on One side or Both.
  • M1 Vertically Straight with One Fixing
  • M2 Vertically Straight with Two Fxing Holes on One side or Both.

(above can be on Inner or Outers Plate links or every plate or intervals along the supply length)

Tips

Food Quality Nickel Plated Chains can be used as a cheaper alternative to Stainless Steel for applications that are not in direct contact with food, but are still required to be clean down.
