In recent years there has been a decline in the demand for open gearing due to the rise in popularity of Sealed for life encased Right Angle Worm units or Helical Spur Inline units either free standing or motorised types!
To reflect this change our standard stock range now comprises a range of Module (Metric Pitch) Spur and Bevel Gears and are mainly design for a single train reduction where space is at a premium or for rack drives in the Material Handling and door industries!

In Module (Metric Pitch) from 1Mod to 6 Mod with gearing ratios of up to 10.5-1 and are available in two design type,(with or without a Boss) with a corresponding range of Spur racks in four stock lengths, both are produced in C45 Steel (EN8) which is suitable for Flame or Induction Hardening!

These Ranges are in Module (Metric Pitch) from 1Mod to 5Mod with gearing ratios of up to 4-1 with three straight tooth form types produced to UNI6588 Std, DIN3971 Std and the Gleason Std. and a range of Spiral Tooth gears also to the Gleason Std. all in C45 Steel (EN8) which is suitable for Flame or Induction Hardening!
